KStutor
KStutor enables non-technical business users to quickly create stunning knowledge transfer content for business system simulations and eLearning.
Build content to keep your audience engaged using rich media such as animation, sound, video and Flash. Add interactive tests, movies and assessments to ensure users not only complete lessons, but understand them too.
| No third party player required | The JavaScript output of KStutor content means there is no need for plug-ins or player software on the end-user machine. All that is required is a web browser. |
| Easy-to-use interface | No scripting or programming skills are required to use KStutor. This simplicity allows trainers and business experts alike to become competent developers of simulation and eLearning content. |
| Multiple screen capture methods | ‘Simple’ capture allows clear-cut capture of the required screens, while an ‘Advanced’ option can provide automatic or semi-automatic capture of the process itself - including screens, interactions and accompanying instruction text. |
| Easy screen manipulation | Screenshots and images are easily edited directly from KStutor by launching the associated image software. Screens can be added or replaced, removing the need to re-capture a process from scratch should any mistakes be made. |
| Multiple outputs | Topics authored once can be played in three modes, with different levels of interactivity: ‘show me’, ‘test me’ and ‘movie’. |
| In-learning feedback | Up to three levels of feedback can be provided during the training, removing the need to seek help from a third party in order to progress. The training can be carried out at the user’s desk, rather than being dependent on the presence of a real life tutor in a classroom environment. |
| Scoring | Users’ attempts at training are scored based on their responses to interactions and questions. |
| Template-driven eLearning | Pages that incorporate text, images and interactive elements can be saved as templates for easy re-use and quicker development. |
| Embedded Media | Flash, MPEG, AVI, Quick Time and Windows Media can all be imported and run from KStutor, enabling you to make use of content created previously. |
| Audio | Sound files can be imported to enhance the learning experience by providing an alternative medium to the display. Speech can be recorded directly from KStutor to provide a commentary that runs alongside the training. |
| Animation and transitions | Animation of text, images and pages can be added to lift the content, in the form of 52 different transitions and time-based events. |
| Page branching | Multiple paths can be provided in the training, driven by the action taken by the user. |
| Question banking | Questions can be randomised to increase the effectiveness of assessing a user’s ability. The random nature of the assessment means the answers to questions cannot be memorised after one attempt and then repeated in order to pass. |
| Customised question responses | By assigning a custom response to each answer, the behaviour of the question, e.g. display the next page, jump to another page, etc. can be altered in accordance with the response given. |
